Responsibilities
Mr. White joined Brownfield Management Associates (BMA), an environmental, and real estate development consulting company that helps organizations unlock value from their non-performing real estate assets in 2014 as a Principal and Chief Operating officer, and is responsible for operational and financial

management of the organization. He also has an active role in advising BMA clients on financial, transactional, risk management and environmental aspects of brownfield remediation and redevelopment projects and plays a major role in business development and in the strategic planning for BMA, identifying and developing various partnerships and alliances to supplement and expand BMA’s comprehensive suite of client services, including heading the principal acquisition operations.
With BMA, he has participated in the generation, as well as the strategic, financial and risk assessment of, various divestment options for several Fortune 100 clients across the US. He is also responsible for the creation of environmental and financial due diligence platforms for clients specializing in the acquisition and development of environmentally impacted properties for various redevelopment uses including solar power generation and environmentally-friendly workforce housing, for real estate private equity clients and for industrial and manufacturing focused private equity sponsors.

Experience
Over his 25 year career in various sectors of the capital markets, Mr. White has participated in private equity transactions valued at more than $2,500,000,000, and has been directly responsible for close to $300,000,000 of structured and managed investments in industries from real estate and banking to healthcare, logistics, telecommunications and nanotechnology. He has been involved in the startup of several investment and risk management advisory organizations during which time he engineered and commercialized two proprietary financing structures for small public companies, providing more than $125,000,000 of growth capital. He has led teams performing origination, underwriting, structuring, and management of both real estate and private equity investments. He has also been responsible for global risk management of an international bank’s multi-billion dollar, multi-currency portfolio of foreign exchange transactions.

Positions
Prior to joining BMA, Mr. White served as Director of Real Estate and Capital Markets Operations for WCD Group, LLC based in Chicago, Illinois, where he was responsible for business development, focused on environmental risk management and asset repositioning advisory services for utility, manufacturing and other heavy industrial clients with surplus or retired assets. He advised WCD clients on financial and risk management aspects of brownfield acquisition, redevelopment and remediation projects, coordinating developers and debt & equity capital sources for brownfield projects. He has played a significant role in WCD’s risk and project management consulting services related to subsurface remediation required for a $120,000,000 acquisition and renovation of an affordable housing property, remediation in advance of the development of an indoor youth sports complex and transactional risk management in preparation for the development of an urban solar power generation facility, part of the largest urban solar facility in the U.S.

Mr. White is a Member of the Advisory Board of Community Partners for Affordable Housing, a Chicago-based not-for-profit company that helps develop and maintain affordable housing for local, under-served residents and has previously served as a consultant and Board Member for other affordable housing and social services organizations. Mr. White also does an extensive amount of youth sports coaching within his community.
